Diese aus der Antike stammenden Grundsätze aus dem Lehrwerk "De Architectura" des römischen Architekten Vitruv (ca. 80-10 v. Chr.) sind gerade in der heutigen Zeit ein Ansporn und Leitfaden, bei der Planung und Realisierung von Architektur ganzheitlich vorzugehen. Das bedeutet, das Gebäude, seine Bestandteile, die verwendeten Materialien, das Gebäudeumfeld und die Nutzer bzw. Eigentümer sollen als sich als zusammenhängende Bestandteile zu einer Einheit fügen.
Voraussetzung für die Umsetzung solcher Bauvorhaben ist eine hohe, bis in die Details gehende gestalterische Qualität -unter Einhaltung zeitgemäßer, ökologischer Standards.
In diese Grundsätze zu integrieren ist die Planung und Ausführung der technischen Gebäudeausrüstung, vor allem in Hinblick auf die Heizungs- und Warmwasserversorgung.
Ein weiterer, wesentlicher Teil der Gesamtbetrachtung des architektonischen Werkes ist die Wirtschaftlichkeit des Gebäudes, sowohl im Entstehen als auch im Betrieb.
Zur Erfüllung der beschriebenen Zielsetzung bedarf es einer intensiven Kommunikation zwischen Architekt und Bauherrin/Bauherrn während des gesamten Entstehungsprozesses.
Ich biete die Ausführung kleiner und großer Bauvorhaben in allen Leistungsphasen an.
Meine Erfahrung reicht von der Sanierung und Modernisierung von Altbauten -auch unter Berücksichtigung der Belange des Denkmalschutzes, bis zur Errichtung von Neubauten. Für den Fall, daß Ingenieurleistungen zur Statik und/oder Haustechnik bzw. eine Beratung in der Nutzung von Fördermitteln erforderlich sind, kann ich auf Wunsch diese Bestandteile ebenfalls mit in mein Leistungsspektrum aufnehmen.
Alle Zeichnungen und Pläne werden mit Hilfe von CAD-Technik in 3D erstellt.
Die Ausschreibung und Vergabe der Bauleistungen erfolgt ebenfalls EDVgestützt. Es werden alle zeitgemäßen Mittel zur Kommunikation und zum Datentransfer mit anderen, an der Planung Beteiligten eingesetzt.
In der Nähe vom Regierungsviertel, Marienstraße 19/20 in Berlin-Mitte nutzen "A3 Architeken Jan Jacob" und "Mohr + Winterer Architekten GmbH" als Architekten-Bürogemeinschaft gemeinsam eine 100 m2 großen Büroetage.
Je nach Auftragslage sind bei den A3 Architekten Jan Jacob bis zu 2 Mitarbeiter beschäftigt.
Durch die relativ flexible Organisationsstruktur unserer Bürogemeinschaft (2 wirtschaflich voneinander unabhängige Einheiten) können auch sehr große Bauvolumen betreut werden.

That is to say that the structure, its components, the applied materials, the environment and the occupant resp. the proprietary should be all seen as parts of a coherent object. The condition to perform such construction projects are a high artistic quality to the point of the details, in compliance with modern environmental standards.
The conception and execution of the building services engineering has also to be integrated to the canon, especially the hot water supply and the heating system.
A further crucial part of the system is the economic efficiency of the building both its development and its operation.
An intensive communication between architect and builder throughout the whole process is crucial in order to accomplish the specified purposes.
